How to grow perfume succulents easily? How to grow perfume succulents easily?

Speaking of succulent perfume, some flower lovers may not be particularly familiar with it. It is not that popular, but it is a succulent that is very easy to grow. When it is in good condition, the perfume is orange in color, and the leaves look like sparkling gems from a distance.

Perfume succulent cultivation

1. Soil selection

In order to make the perfume succulent grow well, the potting soil must be selected appropriately. When choosing a flower pot, try to use a breathable ceramic pot. The soil can be mixed with peat soil and granular soil in a ratio of 6:4 or 5:5. A higher proportion of nutrient soil will give the soil good water retention and is also beneficial for root growth.

2. Ambient temperature

The suitable growth temperature for perfume succulent is between 15-25 degrees. When the ambient temperature is maintained within this range, the perfume can grow rapidly. The ambient temperature should not exceed 30℃ or be below 0℃, otherwise the perfume will be frostbitten. The ambient temperature should be kept at around 5℃.

3. Watering properly

The perfume succulent plant has a strong water storage capacity and is considered a relatively drought-resistant succulent variety. It does not need to be watered too frequently on a daily basis. It is best to wait until the soil is completely dry, and then slowly apply water along the edge of the pot to allow the soil to fully absorb it.

4. Provide enough light

The perfume plant is a sun-loving plant. The more time it receives sunlight, the deeper its color becomes. The transparent jelly color is the result of long-term sunlight. If there is a lack of sunlight, especially in spring and autumn, the color of the perfume plant will be difficult to turn orange, and there is a risk of excessive growth. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain more than 4 hours of sunlight a day.

Perfume maintenance precautions

In the hot summer, you should give perfume a small amount of water in the evening. Do not water it at noon when the temperature is high, otherwise it will burn the roots. If it is in winter and the temperature is low, try to keep the soil in the pot dry and control watering.

Perfume cannot withstand exposure to strong light. If placed in the sun in summer, the leaves of the perfume will be sunburned and need to be moved to a cool place indoors. In the cold winter season, when the light is weak, you can consider artificial lighting. Otherwise, in winter, if there is no light for a long time, the color of the perfume will fade.
