Garlic likes coolness and is a cold-resistant crop, but it is not drought-resistant and afraid of high temperatures. The suitable growth temperature is between 12-26 degrees. It has certain requirements for the soil and is suitable for planting in loose, fertile, well-drained soil, and the planting site must have sufficient light.

How to grow garlic

1. Garlic preparation

Peel the garlic and select the better cloves for sowing . In order to increase the germination speed, you can cut off the harder part of the root of the garlic clove, and then cut a hole at the top of the garlic clove, which will help speed up the germination of our garlic.

2. Land preparation

Then start to prepare the land. When planting garlic, it is best to choose sandy soil or loam. We can turn the land over, apply some organic fertilizer, and then turn the land evenly.

3. Sowing garlic

It is best to sow garlic in rows , using a furrow opener to dig furrows about 5 cm deep and 15 to 20 cm apart. Stand the garlic upright in the soil, with its tip facing upward and the root about one centimeter into the soil. Try to keep the garlic upright so that the garlic seedlings can grow evenly.
