Millet comes in various colors including white, red, yellow, black, orange and purple, and has a certain degree of stickiness.

The earliest wine in my country was also made from millet. It can grow in areas lacking irrigation. Its stems and leaves are relatively hard and can be used as feed.

What is millet?

Millet is an annual herb of the Poaceae family . It has been widely cultivated since ancient times. It tastes sweet, is non-toxic and harmless, and can be eaten as a meal. It has the effects of replenishing qi, making up for deficiencies, treating heat toxins, cooling blood and relieving heat.

It is grown in Northwest, North my country, Southwest, Northeast, South China and East China. It can also be found wild in Xinjiang. It has also been planted in warm regions such as Asia, Europe, America and Africa.

The appearance and characteristics of Ji

The stems of millet are relatively thick and upright, and their height is generally around 40-120 cm. Sometimes they have branches, but sometimes they don't. There are many stiff hairs on their nodes.
