Appearance and characteristics of rice

The inflorescence is large and sparse, and there is only one mature flower in the spikelet. The caryopsis of the plant is extremely small, about 5 mm long. Both the lemma and palea are thick papery, with lattice-like protrusions on the surface. The fruit is composed of several parts such as the rice husk, bran layer, embryo, and endosperm.
