How to disinfect the rotten roots of green radish in soil

How to disinfect the rotten roots of green radish in soil

1. Disinfection methods

Root rot is the most serious disease in its growth, which is mostly caused by too much watering, low temperature or infection with bacteria. When discovered, it should be removed from the pot in time, the rotten roots should be cut off, and then disinfected with disinfectant. For disinfection, you can go to the flower shop to buy carbendazim, then dilute it with water according to the instructions, and soak the pruned roots in the solution for about half an hour, so that the germs can be completely eliminated. After disinfection, just replant it in the pot and it will recover soon.

2. Maintenance methods after root rot treatment

1. Light: The green radish is relatively weak after its roots have just rotted. It is strictly forbidden to expose it to strong light at this time, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow. It should be placed in a bright place without light, or with weak scattered light.

2. Watering: Too much watering is most likely to cause root rot. At this time, plant the plants in pots and don't rush to water them as long as the soil is not dry. Just keep the soil moist.

3. Temperature: Try to meet its temperature requirements and control it between 15 and 25 degrees. Even in winter, the temperature should not be lower than 10 degrees, otherwise frost damage or even death will occur.
