How to pot roses (which pots are suitable and how to care for them)

How to pot roses (which pots are suitable and how to care for them)

1. Choose a pot

When potting it, you need to use a flowerpot that is breathable and water-permeable. Usually, a clay pot is chosen, which is what we often call a mud pot. It is cheap, very practical, and comes in a full range of specifications. You can choose according to the size of the plant when cultivating it. In addition, you can also use a ceramic basin, which is more beautiful and exquisitely made, but its air permeability is not as good as a clay basin.

2. Maintenance methods

1. Watering: You don’t need to water too frequently during maintenance, as long as the soil is slightly moist. It is strictly forbidden to have water accumulation in the potting soil. If it is maintained outdoors, pay attention to timely drainage during the rainy season.

2. Light: It likes light, so it should be placed in a well-lit place for maintenance. It should be exposed to direct sunlight for 4 hours a day, so that the flowers will bloom more beautifully and grow better later.

3. Temperature: It can withstand certain high and low temperatures, but you still need to pay attention to it in summer and winter. In summer, it should be placed in a place with scattered light and cooled appropriately, and in winter, it should be moved indoors for the winter.

4. Fertilization: It is a fertilizer-loving plant and needs to be fertilized at least four times a year. Fertilize once in early spring, once before and after flowering, and once before winter. The concentration of fertilizer should not be too high. You can also apply fermented rice water to promote growth.
