How to grow Schima superba

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: When breeding, you should use soil with good drainage and air permeability, and sandy soil is very suitable. In addition, it is important to expose the seeds to the sun before planting to disinfect and kill the insect eggs inside.

2. Watering: Water management is very important. Water thoroughly when the plant is first buried in the soil, and keep it moist in the later stage. It should not be too dry and there should be no water accumulation. Water should also be watered thoroughly.

3. Fertilization: During routine maintenance, apply fertilizer in small amounts frequently. Mainly choose nitrogen fertilizer or decomposed human manure, and the frequency should be about once every 20 days.

4. Light: It likes light, so it should be given full-day light exposure, or half a day is also fine. It should be ensured that there are between four and eight hours of light per day. But the light is strong in summer, so be careful to block it.

5. Temperature: It is suitable for growing in temperatures between 15 and 22 degrees, and its resistance to high and low temperatures is poor. Therefore, the temperature should be lowered in summer and the heat should be kept in winter, otherwise the growth will be affected.

2. Pests and diseases

Brown spot disease is most likely to occur during maintenance. There will be spots similar to water stains on the leaves, which will change to dark brown as the disease progresses, eventually causing the leaves to curl and wither. When found, cut it off and burn it in time, then spray it with medicine to kill it completely.
