Cultivation methods and precautions of alpine banyan

Cultivation methods and precautions of alpine banyan

1. Soil

The mountain banyan has very low soil requirements and can grow well in soils of different types. However, in order to make it grow more healthily, it is recommended to use soil with certain air permeability and drainage capabilities, preferably with sufficient nutrients.

2. Water

Water it in moderation to avoid the soil being wet for a long time, and never allow water to accumulate. The plants need more water in summer. It is recommended to water them twice a day. In addition, you should also spray water on the plants and their surroundings to ensure a certain level of air humidity.

3. Sunlight

During the maintenance period, it should be placed under sunlight of appropriate intensity to allow the alpine banyan to receive sufficient sunlight so that it can grow better. However, in midsummer, some shade should be provided, especially at noon when the sun is strong, and it should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Without light, plant growth will be stunted.

4. Temperature

The plant is more suitable for growing in high temperature places. The temperature of the breeding environment must not be too low and should always be maintained between 20-30℃. When the temperature is below 14℃, we need to take reasonable insulation measures. When the temperature is higher than 32℃, it should be placed in a cool place and the temperature should be lowered appropriately.

5. Notes

The temperature is lower after winter, so they should be moved indoors in time to avoid low temperatures affecting plant growth. However, the maintenance location should not be too close to heating facilities such as heaters and coal stoves.
