How to grow lisianthus in spring

How to grow lisianthus in spring

1. Adjust the temperature

The best temperature for lisianthus to grow is around 15 to 18 degrees. The temperature in early spring is unstable. If there is low temperature weather, it is necessary to keep it warm. In early spring, it is best not to keep it outdoors. If it is kept indoors, the growth environment temperature should not be higher than 18 degrees. If it exceeds the temperature tolerance limit, it will not grow.

2. Control watering

This is its peak growth period and it requires a lot of water, but the amount of watering must be controlled. If it is watered too much, its root breathing ability will be hindered and root rot will occur. Drip irrigation can be used for watering. The water irrigated by drip irrigation is more evenly distributed, which is beneficial for plant absorption.

3. Pay attention to the environment

Although it likes a humid growing environment, it should avoid high temperature and humid environments. Growing in such an environment is prone to fungal invasion, causing tissue damage.

4. Reasonable lighting

During the growing period, it is necessary to ensure sufficient light so that it can grow healthily. Reasonable light is good for its roots and branches and leaves. It is best to ensure at least six hours of natural light every day. The sunlight in early spring is mild, so it can be kept in a sunny place to receive sunlight all day long. This not only meets its light requirements, but also increases the temperature.
