How to grow spider plants quickly and densely

How to grow spider plants quickly and densely

1. Suitable potting soil

The root system of Chlorophytum comosum is relatively developed, so the flowerpot used for planting must be large, otherwise its roots will not have suitable growth space. If the pot is too small, it will hinder its growth, or you should replace the pot in time after it grows up. The soil should also have better air permeability and contain certain nutrients to promote its healthier growth.

2. Provide Light

It must not lack sunlight during its growth period. It is best to place it under bright light to provide better light for the plant. When growing indoors, it is recommended to place it in a sunny place such as a balcony or windowsill, and maintain air circulation in the growing environment to allow the plant to breathe and grow better.

3. Replenish water

Although its roots can store a certain amount of water, it still needs to be replenished with water in a timely manner. When you find that the soil of the cultivated plant has become dry, you should water the soil appropriately. Only with sufficient water can it grow faster. Not only that, you should also sprinkle water appropriately when the climate is dry and appropriately increase the humidity of the breeding environment.

4. Normal pruning

Pruning is indispensable during maintenance, especially when the leaves of the plant are diseased, they must be pruned as soon as possible, otherwise it will not only slow down the growth of the plant, but also increase the loss of nutrients. In addition, after pruning the diseased leaves, you should also spray some medicine for prevention and control.
