How to grow hydroponic vegetables

1. Make a hydroponic box

Before planting hydroponic vegetables, you must first prepare a watertight hydroponic box. It is recommended that you use a plastic foam box. A floating board of the same size should also be placed on the box in order to carry the vegetables.

2. Processing vegetables

Before hydroponic cultivation, the vegetables need to be simply processed. First, select the hydroponic vegetables and rinse the roots with clean water. Then comb its roots, cut off its old and rotten roots with scissors, and then disinfect it with potassium permanganate. The disinfected roots cannot be directly hydroponically grown and must be rinsed with clean water before planting.

3. Carry out hydroponics

Be careful when planting so as not to damage its root system. It is best to add an appropriate amount of nutrient solution in the hydroponic box. Plant the roots of the seedlings well and always have water in the hydroponic box.

4. Planting and maintenance

Be sure to change the water after planting, because there will be a lot of bacteria in the water during hydroponics, and the water quality will deteriorate over time. Therefore, pay attention to changing the water. You can use rainwater, water from the pond, or water from the river.
