Ruyi Queen Hydroponic Rooting Method

1. Cut branches

First, choose a well-grown plant and cut off the branches with aerial roots. Aerial roots can easily take root in water, which is very important. It is required to grow healthily, without being infected by pests and diseases, with a diameter of about 0.5 and a length controlled at 15-25 cm, with leaves left on it.

2. Prepare the container

The container for hydroponics can be made of glass, which looks beautiful with the plants and makes it easy to observe changes in the root system. After disinfection and cleaning, place it aside for later use. The water quality can be purified water, which is relatively clean. If conditions do not permit, tap water can be used, but it needs to be dried and left to stand so that the chlorine in it can evaporate, which is beneficial to the growth of the plants.

3. Carry out hydroponics

Insert the cut branches into a container filled with clean water. The water level should be above the aerial roots to facilitate the growth of small fine roots. Change the water every day and spray water on the leaves. This not only promotes rooting but also improves the ornamental value. Then place it in astigmatism and avoid exposure to strong light.

4. Post-maintenance

The surrounding temperature is maintained at around 15 degrees Celsius, and the water should be changed frequently. It will take about 15 days for the plant to take root, and the frequency of water changes needs to be reduced after the root system stabilizes.
