1. Flowering period

The white calla lilies grown at home will bloom after about 3 years of cultivation, while those grown from seeds may take 4-5 years to bloom. The flowering period of Anthurium is generally from May to September every year. If it is grown at home, the flowering period will last for about a month, and the viewing period is relatively long.

Different regions are located in different areas, so the flowering time may be different. It is not a fixed time. Therefore, if the white calla lily at home does not bloom on time, there is no need to worry. It may not be the right time. After the white calla lily blooms, the flowers appear white to light green, and the spadix in the middle is creamy yellow, and it has great ornamental value. Now it is maintained in a greenhouse, where the light and temperature are regulated, so it can bloom again, but it is difficult to achieve at home.

2. Maintenance

1. Before flowering: Replenish water before flowering, spray water on the leaves frequently to keep them moisturized and increase the humidity in the air. Reduce the application of nitrogen fertilizer before flowering, and increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to promote blooming of flowers. You also need to pay attention to supplementary light, place it where the sun can reach it, and provide enough sunlight.

2. After the flowering period: After the flowers wither, they have no ornamental value. At this time, the remaining flowers can be cut off to promote the next flowering. Flowering consumes a lot of nutrients, so apply fertilizer appropriately.
