How many days to change the water when growing green radish in water

How many days to change the water when growing green radish in water

1. Before rooting

If you have just started growing the green radish in water and it has not been too long, the new roots have not grown out yet, so you can change the water more frequently. Providing fresh and nutritious water will be conducive to root growth. Change the water every 3-4 days so that the green radish can grow roots as quickly as possible. In addition to normal water changes, you can also add nutrient solution to make the leaves grow better and more shiny.

2. After rooting

1. Growth period: After rooting, the frequency of water changes needs to be reduced. Frequent water changes are actually not conducive to growth. In the growing seasons of spring and autumn, in order to provide sufficient nutrients, you can change the water every 20 days or so.

2. Summer: The temperature in summer is high, which easily breeds bacteria and microorganisms. In order to ensure that the water quality is not too turbid, the frequency of water changes can be increased at this time, and the water can be changed every 15 days or so.

3. Winter: The temperature is relatively low in winter, the growth is slow, and the water quality is also very stable. You can water it every 30 days or so.

3. Notes

Before changing the water each time, pour out the water in the container first, then wash the container and disinfect it. After that, disinfect and trim the roots, and then you can replace the new water plant with a new one.
