How much water do you need to grow water bamboo?

1. How much water to use

When growing water bamboo hydroponically, the amount of water used is also an important factor. Add an appropriate amount of water so that the water surface contacts the upper end of the roots about 3-4 cm to ensure that the roots are immersed in water. Do not use too much water, otherwise the water level will be very high and a large area will be submerged, which will cause rot, affecting breathing and the overall growth condition. If you use too little water, it is not suitable either. The roots cannot be immersed in it and it is difficult to take root.

2. Precautions

1. The water level is not appropriate: During maintenance, if you feel that the water level is not appropriate, you need to adjust it in time and do not continue to maintain it in the same way. When there is too little water, you can add some water to the container to ensure that the water can cover the roots. If you find that there is too much water, you can first take out the water bamboo and then pour out some of the water in the container.

2. Rot occurs: If too much water is used, the stem will rot. The rotten area needs to be cut off as soon as possible to prevent the rotten area from expanding. If it is root rot, you need to clean the roots first, comb them, remove the rotten areas, and put a little Green Treasure in the water to promote root growth.
