How to grow yew, pictures of yew trees

1. How about yew?

1. Soil: Yew likes to grow in loose and fertile soil. When it is cultivated at home, it can be prepared by mixing garden soil, leaf mold and a small amount of coarse sand. Leaf mold can provide the influence needed for the growth of yew, and coarse sand can improve soil drainage.

2. Watering: The yew tree has a well-developed root system and luxuriant branches and leaves, so its demand for water is relatively high. Water it three times a day in spring and autumn, once in the morning, noon and evening. In the hot summer, avoid watering at noon. Water the plants once in the morning and evening. You can also spray water on the leaves to keep them moist. The growth rate slows down greatly in winter, so it is enough to water it once every ten days or half a month.

3. Sunlight: Yew is a plant that likes a cool environment, so try to keep it indoors or in a shaded location in the courtyard. When the light is too strong in the summer, shade is needed. If exposed to strong light, the chlorophyll in the leaves will lose its color and become dull.

4. Temperature: It is shade-tolerant and cold-resistant. It is a highly adaptable plant that can withstand temperatures as low as minus 25°C. The temperature range suitable for its growth is also relatively wide. It can grow normally in an environment of 10-30℃ and does not need to be moved indoors for maintenance in winter.
