How to make the green radish grow quickly

How to make the green radish grow quickly

1. Suitable lighting

The green radish has strong shade tolerance and can maintain normal growth even if placed in a cool place. But if the light is appropriate, the plant will accumulate more nutrients, which will promote more vigorous growth and burst the pot faster. Except for the strong light in summer, move it to a place with diffuse light in the other three seasons to let it see more light.

2. Suitable temperature

If you want it to bloom, you must provide a temperature suitable for growth. It is best to always control the temperature at around 22 degrees, which is most conducive to growth. The high and low temperatures in summer and winter must be controlled, otherwise poor growth and yellowing and withering leaves may occur. In summer, ventilation should be strengthened and water should be sprayed frequently to cool down. In winter, the plant should be moved to a warm place. It is best to control the temperature above 10 degrees to avoid frostbite.

3. Reasonable fertilizer and water

Proper application of fertilizer and water during management is also the key to its growth. It is recommended to water it when the soil is dry and when the soil is wet. Its roots are fleshy and cannot tolerate waterlogging. Too much watering can cause root rot and hinder its growth. During the peak growing season, you should apply fertilizer frequently and just apply a dilute liquid fertilizer. The nutrients are enough to promote faster growth and quicker blooming of the pot.

4. Timely pruning

If you find any underdeveloped, diseased, or overgrown branches and leaves during the maintenance period, you should cut them off in time. This can reduce unnecessary nutrient consumption, save space, and promote the better germination of strong branches, which is also beneficial for it to bloom out of the pot. Its germination speed is relatively fast. If the growth environment is suitable, it will soon reach the point of overflowing the pot.
