How to make the claws of bear's paw turn red, how to grow red claw succulent

1. How to make the bear's paw turn red

If you want to make the bear's paw's claws turn red, the method is actually very simple. Bear's paw likes to bask in the sun, and the more it basks in the sun, the redder its claws will become. So you just need to move it to the sun to solve this problem. But one thing to note is that if the temperature in summer is above 28℃, you can expose it to the sun in the morning, but you need to block it from the direct sunlight at noon and in the afternoon to allow the bear's paw to hibernate smoothly and spend the summer safely.

2. How to raise a red-clawed bear's paw

1. Potting soil: It is recommended for beginners to use plastic pots to grow bear's paw. The soil should be mixed with one part peat soil and four parts granular soil.

2. Watering: In spring, autumn and winter, it is usually watered once a week. When it rains or the air is humid, extend the watering time to one and a half to two weeks. In summer, Bear's Paw is dormant, so water it once every three or four weeks. Just water it a little bit along the edge of the pot.

3. Fertilization: No fertilizer is needed for young Bear's Paw seedlings. For large seedlings and old stumps, you can sprinkle 3-5 grains of slow-release fertilizer on the soil surface when repotting to provide nutrients for the Bear's Paw.

4. Ventilation: When raising Bear's Paw at home, you must pay attention to ventilation issues, especially in the hot and humid environment in summer, which can easily cause Bear's Paw to drop leaves. It must be placed in a cool and ventilated place for maintenance to allow Bear's Paw to safely survive the difficult summer.

5. Light: Except in summer, be sure to let the bear's paw get more sun to prevent the red claws of the bear's paw from fading due to lack of light.
