Reasons why mountain rose leaves turn yellow

The outer leaves of mountain roses gradually turn yellow and dry, which is a normal sign of mountain roses entering dormancy.

The bottom leaves of mountain roses that enter dormancy turn yellow and the leaves begin to wrap up, resembling roses.

When the temperature is around 30℃, mountain rose will enter a dormant state. However, depending on individual and regional differences, some mountain roses enter dormancy at around 20℃, while others remain dormant at above 30℃.

What to do if the leaves of mountain rose turn yellow

Place the mountain rose in a place that is well ventilated throughout the day, but avoid direct sunlight and block 50% of the light.

When entering the dormant period, the amount of watering should be gradually reduced, from once a week to once every 10 days or once every 2 weeks. When the leaves are completely wrapped, watering can only be done once a month. And do not water it thoroughly, just water a little along the wall of the pot.
