What to do if the leaves of peony turn yellow

1. Soil drought

We know that the soil that plants need must be breathable and loose. If we give it very dry soil, it will have a great impact on it, because the development of the roots will be more difficult and it will be easily damaged. Its ability to absorb water is not high. Once it is under high temperature conditions, because its leaves evaporate a lot, it will lose a lot of water, so the leaves will turn yellow, so we have to change it to a looser soil.

2. Improper fertilization

Because the purpose of fertilizing is to allow it to absorb various elements, but if we apply too much nitrogen fertilizer, it will cause its leaves to curl together and turn yellow. Especially since it lacks elements such as iron and manganese, this problem will be even more serious. Therefore, we need to apply compound fertilizer to it, and it should not be too biased towards nitrogen.

3. Pruning too early

Because plants need to be pruned and topped, if we do this too early, it is very likely that the phosphorus will be difficult to transport, so it will accumulate on the leaves below, and the leaves elsewhere will most likely turn yellow. Therefore, do not prune it too early. If you accidentally prune it too early, remove the yellow leaves and maintain it slowly.

4. Overwatering

Because it is afraid of waterlogging, if you water it too much, it will easily cause its leaves to turn yellow, especially if there is water accumulation, its roots will easily rot. If there is too much water, you can put it in a cool and windy place so that it can disperse the water.
