What to do if carnation leaves wilt

What to do if carnation leaves wilt

1. Lighting issues

(1) Specific reasons: In fact, this aspect is very easy to understand. Although the growth of plants cannot be separated from light. However, it is normal for it to wilt if it is exposed to strong light for a long time.

(2) Solution: If this is the reason, then we need to adjust the lighting time and intensity. Normally, it is better to place it where it can receive scattered light. When there is strong direct light, try to avoid it. There is also a limit to the daily lighting time, and it is more appropriate to control it within six to eight hours. Too little may not meet demand, but too much may cause the leaves to wilt.

2. Temperature problem

(1) Specific reasons: This aspect is similar to the previous one. If the temperature is very high, similar symptoms to excessive light may appear - leaves wilt.

(2) Solution: If this is the problem, then we need to control the temperature within a range suitable for its growth. Specifically, the suitable range for this plant is thirteen to twenty-five degrees. If it is too high, appropriate cooling measures need to be taken. For example, in the hot summer, you must be careful. Otherwise, the leaves will easily wilt or even wither.

3. Moisture problem

(1) Specific reasons: Too much or too little water may cause this phenomenon. If there are too many, the roots may rot, which will cause the leaves to be damaged and may wilt. If it is less, then it may cause the plant to lack water, which may also lead to the same situation.

(2) Solution: For both situations, we need to balance the amount of watering. Observe the condition of the flower soil and wait until the surface is dry before watering.
