How to save a dead fortune tree

1. Replanting

You can try to save a dying money tree by pruning the roots and replanting it. First, you need to take the money tree out of the soil to see if its roots have rotted. If its roots have begun to rot, you need to use sterilized scissors to cut off all the black and rotten roots.

Note that you cannot be soft-hearted here. You must completely cut off the rotten roots, otherwise it will affect other healthy roots. If the root rot is very serious, the entire root system can be cut off.

Afterwards, treat the plants with carbendazim and soak them in rooting powder to increase the rooting speed. Finally, replant the plant into new moist soil in a semi-shaded environment, maintain a certain humidity, and wait for it to take root again.

2. Shaving

If there is no problem with the roots of the money tree, you can try to save it by shaving it. First, cut off all the branches and leaves of the plant and keep the buds. Then put the plant in a warm and bright place for a while and wait for it to recover slowly. During this period, you can spray some water on the plants to increase the humidity.
