Why Phalaenopsis doesn't bloom

1. Temperature discomfort

Reason: The temperature when growing Phalaenopsis cannot be too low, and the lowest cannot be more than 15℃. If it continues to grow in a low temperature place, it will grow poorly, which will affect its flowering next year.

Solution: Adjust the temperature appropriately when the temperature is low. You can move it indoors or put it in a bag to keep it warm.

2. Lack of light

Reason: Although it does not like to be exposed to too strong sunlight, it cannot lack light before flowering. If the plant does not see good light for a long time, the differentiation of flower buds will be hindered and it will not bloom.

Solution: Move it to a place with light, but be careful not to expose it to strong light. It is best to place it in an environment with scattered light for maintenance.

3. Improper fertilization

Reason: When Phalaenopsis is about to bloom, it needs the support of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. If excessive nitrogen fertilizers are used, the flower buds cannot differentiate normally, so it will not bloom.

Solution: Reduce the amount of nitrogen fertilizer when applying fertilizer, and apply a small amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers before flowering. However, when the plant is forming buds, you should stop fertilizing.
