2. Too much water

Excessive water is one of the main reasons. If too much water is added, it will cause a large amount of water to accumulate at the roots. The roots will be unable to bear it, thus causing waterlogging and problems for the entire plant. In addition to excessive watering on a daily basis, it may also be due to the stimulation of rain, causing a large amount of water to accumulate in the pot. If you find a large amount of water accumulated in the potting soil, you need to drain the water in time and place it in a well-ventilated place to promote evaporation.

3. Low temperature frostbite

The succulent red silk plant cannot tolerate low temperature environments. If the temperature in winter is too cold and it is not moved indoors in time, it may melt. Be sure to pay attention to the temperature range in winter and move it indoors for maintenance in time.

4. Pests and diseases

If the plants stay in a hot and stuffy, unventilated environment for a long time, they will be easily infected by pests and diseases, which will lead to leaf infection problems. You can cut off the saturated part, apply carbendazim and let it dry. If you pay attention to maintenance, they will recover.
