Remove from the basin

It is best to do cuttings before hydroponics, insert the branches into the soil for cultivation, and take them out after they take root. If the jade plant is directly grown in soil, this step can be skipped. Hold the jade plant at the roots with your hands, turn the flowerpot upside down and remove the plant along with the soil, gently tap off the soil, rinse it with water, put it in a special disinfectant to sterilize it, and rinse it again. Be sure to keep the root system intact. .

Root Pruning

Observe whether the roots are intact, cut off old and rotten roots, and try to keep the roots intact.

Hydroponics

Insert the roots into the hydroponic container so that the water completely covers the roots. To avoid top-heavyness, add pebbles, small stones, etc. to the container to stabilize the plant. The survival rate of hydroponics is generally high in spring and summer. You can use clean water directly and change the water every three to five days. The water quality should be good to avoid bacteria and root rot. Place it in a sunny and ventilated place for cultivation. Be careful not to expose it to the sun to avoid burns. Causes the leaves to turn yellow and fall off.
