The ornamental value of bamboo palm

Palm bamboo is a traditional excellent potted foliage plant in my country. It has a compact and beautiful plant shape, dark green and shiny leaves, and leaves spread out like a fan, with the charm of tropical palm, making it a good foliage plant. It is suitable for corridors, halls and meeting rooms, and is rotated every month. In the south of the Yangtze River Basin, it is an evergreen decorative plant in semi-shaded places such as courtyards, windows, and roadsides. The bamboo palm has tall and straight plants and beautiful leaves. It looks very beautiful when planted in front of windows, roadsides, flower beds, and corridor corners. It can also be grown in pots to decorate interiors or make bonsai.

Bamboo palm can purify the air

The function of bamboo palm is similar to that of Monstera deliciosa. As a large-leaf ornamental plant, bamboo palm can absorb more than 80% of various harmful gases and purify the air. At the same time, bamboo palm can eliminate heavy metal pollution and has a certain resistance to sulfur dioxide pollution. Of course, as foliage plants with large leaves, their biggest feature is that they have the ability to digest carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, which is unattainable by ordinary plants.

Medicinal value of bamboo palm

The leaves of the bamboo palm can be used as medicine and can be harvested, chopped and dried throughout the year. It enters the liver and kidney meridians, has the effect of astringing and stopping bleeding, and is used to treat epistaxis, hemoptysis, hematemesis, and excessive postpartum bleeding. The roots of the bamboo palm can also be used as medicine to dispel wind and dampness; astringent and hemostatic. It is mainly used to treat: rheumatic pain; epistaxis; hemoptysis; and injuries caused by falls and strains.
