Usage and Dosage

To treat malaria symptoms: Take 6 qian to 1 liang of fresh melon seeds, rinse them, boil them with wine, and drink them 2 hours before the onset of the disease;

To treat phlegm cough, whooping cough and other symptoms: take 2 liang of the root of the melon seed gold, boil it with water, and add a little honey before drinking for better effect;

To treat children's convulsions: Take 2 qian of melon seeds and 1 qian of Buddha's crown, add appropriate amount of water and boil, then drink;

To treat cold symptoms in children: Take 1 qian of Guazijin, 5 qian of Lanbuzheng, 5 fen of Belamcanda chinensis, add appropriate amount of water and boil, then drink;

To treat headache and other symptoms: Take 5 qian of melon seeds, 4 qian of black fish gall, 3 qian of blue cloth, and 5 qian of water soap, add appropriate amount of water and boil, then drink;

To treat irregular menstruation and menstrual disorders in women: 7 whole melon seeds and 2 taels of sugar, mash them into juice and consume it on the third day after the menstrual period.

To treat postpartum wind symptoms in pregnant women: dry fresh melon seeds, crush them into powder, take 2 qian each time, and drink with warm wine;

To treat the symptoms of acute tonsillitis: take 5 qian of Glehnia littoralis, 5 qian of Houttuynia cordata, and 2 qian of Plantago, add appropriate amount of water and boil them, then drink it. You can drink it for several days in a row, with this amount as the standard for each day.
