Common outdoor ornamental varieties of Anthurium

Anthurium macrophylla

Anthurium large-leafed candidum is a famous cut flower. It is native to the tropical rain forest in southwestern Colombia, South America. It is 40-50cm tall, with flower stems that are higher than the leaves, upright, and blooms all year round. There are many varieties, such as 'Dense-leaved Anthurium', 'White Anthurium', 'Red Anthurium', etc. The most suitable temperature for growth is 20~30 ℃. It has a high requirement for humidity, which must be above 80% . It can survive for more than half a month in water.

Crystal Anthurium

Originally from New Grenada, Colombia. The stems and leaves are densely grown. The leaves are broad and heart-shaped, the young leaves are green, and the later leaves are emerald green. The veins are thick and silvery white, and they are very beautiful. Crystal Anthurium is an excellent small to medium-sized foliage flower. It requires a high humidity environment, is sensitive to changes in moisture, and is difficult to cultivate.

It is also called Fire Crane Pig Tail Anthus Candle. 30-50cm high, upright. The leaves are broad-lanceolate and dark green, the pedicels are red, the spathes are oblong and flame red, and it blooms almost all year round. It likes light slightly, but avoids strong light in summer. It stops growing when the temperature is high. The suitable temperature is 20-25 ℃. It needs to be higher than 15 ℃ in winter. If it exceeds 25 ℃, it will bloom less and is more suitable for potted plants.
