How to care for the succulent plant Angel's Tears

Angel's Tears likes loose, breathable and well-drained soil. You can mix Akadama soil with humus or leaf mold and peat ash. It is better to add some larger granular media. You can add some bone meal as base fertilizer.

Angel's Tears likes a warm growing environment. Summer is its dormant period and winter is its growing period. Angel's Tears can grow in a low temperature environment.

Angel's Tears can withstand low temperatures of around 5℃-10℃. The night temperature in winter must not be lower than 10℃, and the temperature difference between day and night should be kept at around 10℃. If this condition is met, it can be maintained normally, otherwise it will go into dormancy.

Angel's Tears likes plenty of sunlight. During the growing period, sufficient sunlight must be ensured. Insufficient sunlight will cause the plant to grow too tall and have a loose shape.

During the summer dormancy period, Angel's Tears should be placed in a well-ventilated place without direct sunlight for maintenance to avoid direct sunlight that may burn the leaves.

Sufficient light will make the leaves brighter and the entire plant look more beautiful. Too little light will result in light leaf color and loose arrangement of leaves.

Watering

When watering Angel's Tears, the principle is to not water unless the soil is dry, and to water thoroughly when watering. Do not water too much to avoid waterlogging in the potting soil, which will cause root rot. Water only when the soil is completely dry.

When the temperature reaches 35℃ in summer, move it to a bright place with scattered light and slowly cut off the water. After mid-September, resume watering. Water less or not at all during the winter dormancy period. If the temperature is above 0 degrees in winter, you can give some water, but if it is below 0 degrees, cut off the water. You can water it throughout the winter, but do not spray or mist the leaves, as this can easily cause water to stay in the center of the leaves for too long, making the leaves ugly. Resume normal watering once temperatures warm in the spring.

Fertilization

Angel's Tears grows relatively slowly and requires less fertilizer. When fertilizing, you can place a small amount of granular fertilizer on the surface of the soil and wait for the plant to slowly absorb it.
