Common varieties of lilies

Lilium

Lilium lily is also called curled lily, canopy lily, hanging lotus, tiger lily, yellow lily, and pearl flower. Because there are purple-black stripes on its petals, which look like the patterns on a tiger's back, it is also called "tiger lily". The Lilium lily plant is relatively tall and can be called the crown of lilies. The bulb of the Lilium lily is large and can be eaten or used as medicine. Its flowers are orange or brick yellow, with long petals that curl outward and have purple-black spots on them.

Lilium

Rhododendron dasyphylla, also known as Rhododendron dasyphylla, Rhododendron flower, thread-leaf lily, coral lily, and fine-leaf lily, because its leaves are relatively thin and numerous and its corolla resembles coral. During flowering period, the flowers droop and the petals curl outward, with bright red color and beautiful luster. The leaves are relatively scattered, most of them are concentrated in the middle of the stem, in a strip shape, with nipple-like protrusions on the edges of the leaves. The perianth is strongly recurved, bright red, without spots, and the filaments are red. The flowering period of the beautiful lily is July and August, and the fruit ripens in September and October.

Beautiful lily

Beautiful lily is also known as deer lily and bright red lily. The leaves of the beautiful lily are broad and sparse, and grow oppositely, so the beautiful lily is also called the large-leaf lily. The petals of its flowers curl outwards and are white or light pink in color. There are rose-colored patterns and spots on the petals, which look like the patterns on a deer's body, so it is also called deer lily.

Musk Lily

Musk lily, also known as Easter lily and cannon lily, is a representative variety of lily. Its flowers are pure white and open horizontally.

In addition to these common varieties, there are many other varieties of lilies, so I won’t introduce them one by one!
