Cultivation methods and precautions of yellow bell tree

Cultivation methods and precautions of yellow bell tree

1. Temperature

Generally, this plant grows best under conditions of 23 to 30 degrees and cannot adapt well to cold seasons, so in our country, more people grow it in the south.

2. Lighting

This plant requires a lot of light during the germination stage, but if it is grown in a greenhouse, the growth of the seedlings may be weakened due to insufficient light and ventilation, and then they may be infected with damping-off disease. Therefore, after its seeds germinate and leaves grow out, it is necessary to ensure that the degree of shading in the cultivation environment does not exceed 50%, and the ventilation conditions of the environment must also be guaranteed.

3. Soil

To cultivate large seedlings, you should choose some loose and fertile soil, and this soil should have good watering and drainage capabilities. The cultivation soil should be divided into ditches to facilitate drainage and irrigation. About 3,000 plants can be grown per acre.

4. Flower fertilizer

Before breeding, some flower fertilizer should be buried in the soil as base fertilizer, and these base fertilizers should be fully mixed with the soil before planting on it.

5. Bundling

Because this plant grows very fast during the bud stage, and its main branches are very soft and can easily fall down due to wind, the naturally grown plant shape is often not very good-looking. If you want a plant that can grow upright and tall, after planting, when the seedling grows to 30 to 50 centimeters high, insert a two-meter-high bamboo next to the seedling to support and guide the plant to grow upright. Moreover, the seedlings need to be pricked every 50 cm in height.

6. Pruning

The plant needs to be pruned regularly during its growing season, removing the lower branches growing from the sides, and again in the winter after the leaves have fallen.
