Breeding methods and precautions of bear's paw

Breeding methods and precautions of bear's paw

1. Soil

To grow bear's paw, you need fertile and well-drained sandy soil. You can mix coarse sand or vermiculite, garden soil, and leaf mold.

2. Watering

Do not water it too much or too little, just keep the soil moist. In spring and autumn, it is best to wait until the soil is dry before watering. Be sure to water it thoroughly. In the hot summer, you can spray some water with a spray. In winter, reduce watering appropriately. If you water too much, water will accumulate and cause it to rot. If you water too little, it will dry out and cause it to shrink.

3. Fertilization

Fertilization can be done once a month. The fertilizer requirements are not high. Diluted cake fertilizer water or special fertilizer can be used.

4. Lighting

Normally, you should place it in a sunny place. If the light is too dim, its surface will lose its luster. In a high temperature environment, you should provide it with appropriate shade to avoid burning the leaves.

5. Notes

1. Summer maintenance: Once summer comes, Bear's Paw will begin to hibernate. At this time, you should reduce the amount of watering. During the dormant period, it can be exposed to diffuse light, but not direct sunlight. Appropriate ventilation should be increased.

2. Water spraying maintenance: Spraying water can not only allow it to absorb enough water, but also clean the dust. When spraying water, do not let the water stay in the heart of the leaves for a long time, as this may cause heart rot in the long run.
