Brazilian beauty breeding methods and precautions

Brazilian beauty breeding methods and precautions

1. Soil

It is best to use loose, sandy soil containing humus when growing Brazilian Beauty, and do not use alkaline soil as the substrate.

2. Watering

During the growth period of Brazilian Beauty, water it every 2-3 days, and you can spray some water on its leaves appropriately. After entering winter, you should reduce the amount of watering and avoid water accumulation. Keep the soil in a semi-dry and semi-wet state. If too much watering causes water accumulation, root rot or leaf withering will occur.

3. Lighting

It is best to grow it in a place with sufficient light, but it cannot be exposed to strong light, especially in summer. Direct sunlight will turn its leaves yellow. It needs to be properly shaded and receive sufficient scattered light. However, it cannot be placed in a place that is too dark, which will cause the leaf color to darken and the markings on the leaves to disappear.

4. Temperature

The suitable growth temperature for it is 20-28℃. In winter, it should be placed in a sunny place indoors. Too low temperature will cause yellow spots to appear on the leaves, and in severe cases it will be frostbitten.

5. Notes

The Brazilian Beauty may cause its leaves to wither and have burnt edges due to low temperature or improper fertilizer and water, so be sure to control the temperature and humidity, water and fertilize appropriately, and ventilate properly. In addition, common diseases and insect pests should be prevented and controlled, and pesticides should be sprayed in time once they are discovered.
