Cultivation method of small water fig

Cultivation method of small water fig

1. Temperature

Normally, the water fig should be provided with a growing environment of 22-30℃. If the temperature is higher than 30℃, it will grow poorly, or even stop growing, and its leaves may turn yellow.

2. Water quality

The hardness of the water should not be too high. If it is not in soft water, it may cause root rot and brown symptoms, so the water quality must be suitable.

3. Lighting

The small water fig needs sufficient light to grow normally. It can grow in a low-light environment. If it stays in this growth environment for a long time, its petiole will grow too long.

4. Fertilizer

The small water fig grows very slowly, so it is necessary to apply sufficient base fertilizer and appropriate liquid fertilizer. Its roots will absorb 70% of the nutrients and the leaves will absorb 30% of the nutrients.
