Goldfish flower cultivation methods and precautions

1. Soil

It is best to use breathable, well-drained sandy soil for growing goldfish flowers. Acidic soil is beneficial for its growth.

2. Water

During its growth period, it needs to have enough water and the soil should be kept moist at all times. When the weather is dry, you can spray water around the plants to increase the humidity of the air.

3. Temperature

The goldfish flower should be given a growth environment of 16-26℃. Temperatures that are too low or too high will affect its growth. The temperature in summer should not be higher than 30℃, it will enter a dormant state. Place it in a ventilated place and control the amount of watering. The minimum temperature in winter should not be lower than 5℃, otherwise it will easily get frostbite.

4. Fertilization

Apply thin cake fertilizer water 1-2 times every month. In order to increase the amount of flowers, apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers before the flowers bloom or during the flowering period. Stop fertilizing during dormancy.

5. Notes

After the goldfish flower blooms, weak branches and overgrown branches should be pruned off in time. Before entering winter, the withered flower stems should be cut off and kept dry, so that new branches can grow better in the spring of the following year.
