Cultivation methods and precautions of Litsea cubeba

Cultivation methods and precautions of Litsea cubeba

1. Soil

Litsea cubeba is suitable for growing in thick, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. It does not tolerate waterlogging, so it cannot be grown in heavy clay soils with poor drainage.

2. Temperature

It likes warmth and general climatic conditions can meet its growth needs.

3. Lighting

It needs sufficient light for normal growth. If it grows under poor lighting conditions for a long time, it will show many adverse symptoms.

4. Notes

When cultivated outdoors, many weeds may grow around it and compete with it for nutrients, and need to be removed in time. In addition, it is best to loosen the soil once a year to ensure sufficient air in the soil.
