The difference between green vegetables and cabbage

1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of green vegetables are basal, obovate or broadly oval, 20 to 30 cm long, dark green, shiny on the surface, and gradually narrowed at the base into a wide petiole. Margin entire or with unclear, apparently rounded or wavy teeth.

The leaves of cabbage are basal, large, oblong-obovate or obovate, about 30 to 60 cm long, with white petioles and green margins. The top of the leaves is relatively rounded and blunt, the edges are wrinkled and wavy, and sometimes have inconspicuous teeth.

2. Flower Differences

The inflorescence of green vegetables is terminal and conical in shape. The flowers are light yellow and about 1 cm long. The petals are oblong and about 5 mm long. The top is rounded and blunt, with veins on the surface.

The flowers of cabbage are bright yellow, 1.2 to 1.5 cm in diameter, with obovate petals, 7 to 8 mm long, gradually narrowing at the base.
