The color of jasmine

Jasmine is white and has a strong fragrance. It is a climbing shrub of the Oleaceae family and can generally reach about three meters. The flowering period of jasmine is around May to August every year, and the fruiting period is around July to September every year. Jasmine is a famous flower tea and is grown in many areas.

Jasmine flower care

environment

It likes a moist, well-ventilated environment and slightly acidic soil. There are many varieties of jasmine, and most of them are very cold-resistant and drought-resistant. However, when the temperature is below 3°C in winter, the branches and leaves will be harmed, so certain protective measures should be taken in advance.

Fertilization

Jasmine likes fertilizer. During the flowering period between June and September, a certain amount of liquid fertilizer containing phosphorus should be applied. It is best to use it every 2 to 3 days. Fertilizers can be ammonium sulfate or superphosphate. Be sure to configure them according to the required concentration, otherwise too high a concentration will cause root burn. In addition, you can also use 0.1% dipotassium phosphate aqueous solution, choose a sunny afternoon or all day on cloudy days to spray fertilizer on the leaves, which can encourage it to bloom better.

Pest and disease control

Jasmine is more prone to diseases and pests, the main pests of which are leaf rollers and red spiders, which can harm the top and tender leaves of the plant, so it is necessary to use appropriate methods to carry out timely prevention and control. The main diseases are white rot, anthracnose and leaf spot, which mainly harm the base of the stem and leaves. Appropriate agents should be used for spraying, otherwise it will seriously affect the growth of the plant.
