When does Jianlan bloom and how to grow it?

1. Flowering time

The flowering period of Jianlan is from June to October every year. However, it will not be open all the time during these 5 months, but will be opened in two sessions. It blooms for the first time in the second half of June and the flowering period can last about 20 days. It blooms for the second time in August, and this time its flowering period is slightly longer. If the breeding conditions are very suitable, it can bloom until October.

2. Breeding methods

1. Flower soil: When growing it, you must use flower soil with air permeability and drainage capabilities above a certain level. Because its root system is relatively weak, it is difficult to keep it alive using substandard flower soil. Specifically, four parts of burnt earth, three parts of peanut shells and three parts of pond mud can be evenly mixed to make its flower soil.

2. Light: It is not suitable for exposure to direct sunlight. Therefore, when raising it, you should place it in a place with softer light.
