How to grow copper coin grass

How to grow copper coin grass

1. Soil

The soil requirements of the copper coin grass are very low. It is very suitable for growing in loose soil with good water retention capacity. You can use leaf mold, river mud and garden soil mixed in a ratio of 5:2:2. If you are growing it in water, you must use sufficiently clean water and not water with impurities.

2. Sunlight

It can receive 4-6 hours of light when the sunlight is not strong, but the time should not be too long, and it should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Especially in summer, it should be provided with a semi-sunny growing environment. In winter, move it indoors in time and let it see the sun as much as possible every day.

3. Water

It likes to grow in a humid environment. You can water it once every 2-3 days and the soil should be kept slightly moist. Water evaporates quickly in midsummer, so you can spray some water appropriately before watering. If you are growing hydroponically, you need to add water once a week and change the water as soon as possible after it becomes turbid.

4. Temperature

It is suitable for growing in a warm environment, and the temperature of the breeding environment should be maintained at around 10-25℃. The temperatures in spring and autumn are more suitable for its growth, but in summer, the temperature should not be higher than 32℃, and in winter it should not be lower than 5℃.
