The correct way to plant water grass seeds (with steps and illustrations)

1. Planting seeds

First, spread a layer of large-grained aquatic plant mud in the fish tank. You can directly buy special one. If there is water on it, you can remove the water first. Then sprinkle the seeds. The amount of seeds depends on the size of the fish tank. It doesn’t matter if you sprinkle a little more. Cover it with a layer of mud, it doesn't need to be too thick.

2. Spray water

Use a small spray bottle to fill it with water and spray it inside. It does not need to be watered thoroughly, just to make it moist.

3. Keep the temperature

It is very important to control the temperature. You can use plastic wrap to seal the top of the fish tank to increase the temperature inside. 25-30 degrees is a normal temperature. For ventilation, you can poke a few small holes on it.

4. Lighting

Lighting is very important. You can use aquatic plant lights, which can be turned on all the time and do not need to be turned off. Ensure at least 8 hours a day to facilitate its growth. If this condition is not met, growth will be severely restricted. Especially at night, make sure the lights are on.

5. Add water

After about five days, the seeds will sprout, and after waiting for 3-5 days, its growth will stabilize. At this time, water can be injected into the incoming and outgoing surfaces.
