Taboos of growing peony spider plants at home

1. Placement

When caring for Chlorophytum comosum at home, you must pay attention to its placement. Chlorophytum comosum likes light and should grow vigorously under sufficient light. The phalaenopsis should be placed in a well-lit location. Except for appropriate shade at noon in midsummer, it should be given sufficient light at other times of the year and should not be kept in a dark environment for a long time. If there is insufficient light for a long time, the leaf color of the Chlorophytum comosum may become lighter, causing the leaves to fall off, and its ornamental value will also decrease.

2. Control the temperature

Chlorophytum comosum likes a warm and comfortable growing environment and cannot tolerate high temperatures and cold. Its growth will be affected in an environment with high or low temperatures, so pay attention to controlling the temperature. The suitable temperature for the growth of Chlorophytum comosum is 15-25℃. When the temperature is high in summer, it needs to be cooled down in time and moved to a cool and ventilated place for maintenance. When the weather turns cold in winter, it needs to be moved indoors in time to keep warm to avoid frostbite on the plants.

3. Water Management

Chlorophytum comosum likes a dry environment, so do not water it too much on a daily basis. It needs to be watered according to normal growth needs. March to September each year is the peak growth season, and it requires plenty of watering. When watering, be sure to control the amount to avoid waterlogging and root rot. After September, the phalaenopsis enters a period of slow growth, and the amount of watering should be gradually reduced.

4. Nutrient Management

Chlorophytum comosum does not have high requirements for fertilizer and water, but reasonable fertilization should be applied to ensure growth. Apply cake fertilizer and water once every half a month or so during the growing season.
