Cultivation methods and precautions of aster

Cultivation methods and precautions of aster

1. Watering

Aster likes to grow in a relatively humid environment. Sufficient water can make it grow more vigorously. In spring and autumn, water it every 2-3 days. Control the amount of water according to the specific situation. It is best to keep the soil moist. In summer, it is best to water it about once a day. In winter, to avoid frostbite, do it once every 5-7 days.

2. Lighting

It prefers sufficient light, and it is best to let it receive light all day long. Only in this way can the plant fully convert sunlight into energy and grow vigorously.

3. Temperature

A warm environment is more suitable for its growth. When cultivating it, flower lovers should try to control the temperature at 15-25℃. In the high temperature environment in summer, it is necessary to move it to a cooler place for maintenance. In winter, you should be careful to keep warm, as you are likely to get frostbite if the temperature drops below 3℃.

4. Fertilization

Chrysanthemum likes fertilizer. It is best to apply well-rotted farm organic fertilizer to it. If it is just established, liquid fertilizer can also be applied. Applying nitrogen fertilizer during the growth period can effectively promote its growth. It can be applied once every 10 days.

5. Notes

Adequate fertilizer can make it grow more vigorously and healthily, but you should also pay attention to the amount of fertilizer, not too much. It likes light, but in the hot summer, you need to pay attention to moving and ventilating the plant. The plant will become dehydrated and die in hot and sunny weather.
