1. What to do after the flowers fade

Generally speaking, after its flowers wither, if you want to continue planting it, you can cut off all the branches that bear the flowers of the hyacinth, leaving only a few leaves. When the temperature gradually warms up, its leaves will fall off naturally, and we should not water the bulbs at this time. Then dig out its bulbs, wrap them with a clean cloth or newspaper, and plant them before the coming winter of next year. If you don’t want to use it for cultivation, you can also use it for hydroponics.

2. Can it bloom again?

It can re-flower, but it is better to choose larger bulbs, because the chance of re-flowering of hyacinths that are too small is relatively small. Especially when conducting hydroponics, the selected bulbs must be large and full, and the preserved bulbs can be planted in November of the following year. However, the flowers of replanted hyacinths are not as abundant as those in the first year, and the flowers are not as beautiful, so most people throw them away after they bloom once.
