The breeding methods and precautions of Dragon King Ball

The breeding methods and precautions of Dragon King Ball

1. Maintenance methods

1. Soil: When breeding, generally use sandy soil with good drainage and air permeability. You can also prepare mixed soil yourself. These soils are suitable for the growth of Dragon King Ball.

2. Water: Its demand for water is average, and appropriate watering is enough. When watering, do not let water accumulate in the pot, just keep the soil moist.

3. Nutrients: Spread compound fertilizer evenly on the soil, or dissolve it in water and pour it in to meet its fertilizer needs. But be careful not to touch the roots, as it will cause root burn.

4. Light: The plant likes sunlight. The growth ability of the dragon ball is very good. As long as it is given sufficient light, it can grow well.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Pruning and repotting: About two years after planting, you should replace it with a larger pot. When repotting, you should trim the messy roots, which will be more conducive to its absorption of nutrients.

2. Reproduction: The molecular ball method is often used for reproduction. After about two years of cultivation, the sphere will grow into many small balls. When breeding, just cut off a strong small ball for reproduction. Dry the cut bulbs a little so that there is dry skin on the cut, then plant them in soil with sufficient nutrients. New roots will grow in about half a month.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Spherical shrinkage and aging: When its appearance shrinks significantly and aging occurs, it is mostly caused by the lack of water absorption for a long time. Although the Dragon King Ball does not need to be watered frequently, it should not be left without water for a long time.

2. Root rot: If you water too much, water will accumulate at the roots, which will cause root rot. Therefore, avoid water accumulation when watering, and remove the plants from the pot and trim the roots in time if they rot.

IV. Other issues

1. How to spend the winter: In winter, you need to move it indoors for breeding. The outdoor temperature is too low, which can easily cause frostbite. It is best to place it in a ventilated place.

2. Can it be placed indoors? Its shape is shaped like a ball and its colors are beautiful, which makes it very suitable for viewing, so there is no problem placing it indoors. It is a good idea to put it on a computer desk or windowsill. However, since there are small thorns on it, children should be prevented from touching it.
