1. Different plant typesAdult foxglove plants will be taller, with the entire plant height being around 60-120cm, and sometimes there is almost no hair on the stems. Snapdragon is relatively short and not that tall overall, about 20-80cm. If you put two adult plants together, you can tell them apart as they look very similar. If they are seedlings, it will be difficult to tell them apart directly. 2. Different leavesThe leaves of foxglove are round and wide, oval or oblong in shape, about 5-15cm long, with short round teeth on the edges. The leaves of snapdragon are narrow and long, but smaller, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate in shape, about 2-6cm long, and the leaves are entire. 3. Different flowersThe flowers of foxglove are lavender, and also come in other colors such as white, purple, yellow, and red. The corolla on the plant is tilted, with one side swollen into a bell shape. Individual flowers appear like small trumpets and are arranged relatively neatly. The colors of snapdragon flowers are more diverse. There may be several colors on one flower, mainly dark yellow, light yellow, yellow-orange, light red, dark red, etc. They look like small goldfish and do not look so neat. |
