How to water with Gold Finger

How to water the Golden Finger in spring

As the temperature rises in spring, the growth of golden fingers will accelerate. The frequency of watering can be appropriately increased, and usually no watering is required unless the soil is dry.

When the temperature rises to 20℃, water it once every 7 to 10 days. If the sunlight is too strong at noon, you can spray water appropriately.

Goldfinger summer watering method

The temperature is high in summer, the water evaporation is large, the golden fingers grow vigorously, and it is also the season with the highest water demand. Water it once every 3 to 5 days.

When the temperature reaches above 30℃, in order to ensure its ornamental value, the golden fingers should be sprayed with water 1 to 2 times every morning and evening.

In addition, try to avoid the impact of heavy rain or continuous rainfall. If water accumulates in the pot for a long time and is exposed to high temperature, it can easily cause various diseases and pests.

Goldfinger's autumn watering method

The watering methods in autumn and spring are similar. The potting soil should be dry and wet. It is better to be less rather than more. Wait until the potting soil is short of water before watering. Never keep the potting soil in an oversaturated state for a long time, so as to avoid long-term hypoxia of the roots and cause the death of the plant.

How to water the Golden Finger in winter

After entering winter, the temperature is lower and the growth of golden fingers is inhibited. At this time, watering should be reduced as much as possible, generally once every 20 days or so. Watering should also be done during the warm noon hours. If the indoor temperature is relatively dry, you can spray water on the leaves to keep them green.

Goldfinger watering precautions

When watering, you should also pay attention to the water quality. Generally, the water used should not contain too much salt, nor too much calcium, magnesium ions and other harmful chemicals. The water should be neutral or slightly acidic, and the tap water at home can be left for 2 days before use.

The watering temperature should not be too low. Regardless of the season, the water temperature should be close to the room temperature, especially in the cold northern regions, where more attention should be paid.
