Maintenance methods of Jiyulu in four seasons

Maintenance methods of Jiyulu in four seasons

Spring maintenance

The temperature is suitable in spring, and the Ji Yu Lu enters a period of vigorous growth. At this time, the root system is strong. After the soil in the flowerpot is dry, you can water the soil thoroughly and place it in a ventilated place to remove excess moisture in the soil.

In spring, you can also cover the plant with a transparent colorless plastic bottle with the upper half cut off, allowing it to grow in a small humid environment.

Summer maintenance

The temperature is high in summer, and the Jade Plant enters a dormant period. At this time, the root hairs are dry and have no ability to absorb water, so it is best to stop watering. You can spray the plant in the evening to alleviate dryness.

In the hot summer, you need to remove the beverage bottles to avoid the death of plants due to excessive heat and humidity.

No fertilizer is needed for the Ji Yu Lu during its dormant period.

Autumn maintenance

Autumn and spring are the growing seasons of Ji Yulu. You should follow the principle of "don't water unless the soil is dry, and water thoroughly when you do". After watering, place it in a ventilated place to remove excess water and then keep it in a sealed place.

Winter maintenance

The growth of the Jade Plant is slow in winter, and it is best to keep the temperature above 10℃, and keep the soil in the pot slightly moist. However, the temperature should not be lower than 5℃, otherwise the leaves will be frozen.

In winter, it is best to keep the Jade Plant in a cool place. Normal watering should be maintained at this time. If the watering frequency is reduced, the Jade Plant will enter a dormant period.
