How to propagate Jacaranda

Classification of Jacaranda's propagation methods

There are generally three methods of propagating Jacaranda: seed propagation, cutting propagation and tissue culture propagation.

Cutting propagation:

The cutting propagation of Jacaranda is mainly distributed in spring and autumn every year. When propagating by cuttings, you should choose the Jacaranda with thicker growth as the cuttings, which will increase the survival rate of Jacaranda.

Seed propagation:

The fruits of Jacaranda mature mainly around November every year. After picking the fruits of Jacaranda, be sure to place them in a windless place to be exposed to the sun, and then store them after the seeds are dried. The suitable time for sowing Jacaranda is around March every year.

Tissue culture propagation:

It is relatively easy to propagate Jacaranda by tissue culture. Some scientific research institutions in my country have adopted tissue culture methods to cultivate a large number of Jacaranda test tube seedlings.
