Prepare the soil

When choosing soil, it is generally best to choose loose and breathable soil, such as river sand and perlite. You can mix it with peat soil. Be sure to spray the soil wet.

Preparing cuttings

On the fairy finger plant, choose suitable leaves as cuttings. Use scissors to cut it off, cutting diagonally along the stem. If the plant is cut obliquely, the rooting area will be larger and it will be easier to take root. The cut cuttings need to have their wounds disinfected and then dipped in some rooting powder.

Insert the leaves of the cactus into the soil, and then gently compact the soil with your hands. After cuttings, you can cover the flowerpot with plastic wrap and place it in a ventilated and diffused light place for maintenance. Note that you need to poke a few holes on the plastic wrap for ventilation.

After that, you need to pay attention to spraying the soil and keep it moist. Generally, roots will take shape in 2 weeks.
